TRIP ITINERARIES
Day 1: Ha Giang – villages – Dong Van Ancient town (135km) [Meals: B L D]
- 3:30: Arrive in Ha Giang City, and sleep in our hostel for a few hours before starting the journey.
- 7:30-8:00: Have breakfast in Ha Giang city
- 8:30: Start the journey to visit:
Minh Tan market (it’s Saturday) – Explore the lively local market.
Quan Ba sky gate – Stunning panoramic views of the valley
Quan Ba Twin mountain – a must-see in Ha Giang, is famous for its magical natural beauty.
Hmong House at Lung Khuy village – Meet locals and experience traditional Hmong culture
- 12:00: Lunch stop at the local restaurant.
Can Ty Slope – the “Cu Vuong” road, which was the horse road used by H’mong King a long time ago
Legendary Tham Ma slope – A scenic mountain pass offering stunning views of Ha Giang’s winding roads and valleys
Lao Xa village you will learn the traditional silver-making craft of the Hmong.
Sa Phin Dong Van Geopark
H’mong King Palace – Built in the late 19th century, this grand palace features unique multicultural architecture and fascinating stories, making it a must-visit in Ha Giang.
- 19:00: Enjoy dinner and have free time to relax at the homestay.
Day 2: Dong Van – Hiking White God Cliff – Mong village – Campsite (15km) [Meals: B L D]
- 07:30: Breakfast at the homestay
- 8:30: We will continue to explore Ha Giang and we will visit some places:
Dong Van Local market (it’s sunday)
Our HGE guide is going to visit the Chinese border befor our guide and the driver will lead you on an exhilarating trek to Ma Pi Leng peak, covering 9 km of the Sky path through limestone cliffs, Hmong villages, and cornfields after lunch. Enjoy stunning views of the Nho Que River below from the God cliff. Hiking down to hidden Mong village – you’ll embark on a 2km hike along the beautiful Nho Que River, passing through villages inhabited by the Giay and Hmong people, with rice flowers lining the riverbanks all the way to the Vietnamese border.
- 16:30: Arrive at the camping area next to the Nho Que Stream, offering stunning views of the Tu San Canyon.
- 19:00: Dinner with hot pot/BBQ and music awaits
Day 3: Campsite – Du Gia (90km) [Meals: B, L, D]
- 08:00: Breakfast at the homestay
We will come back Ha Giang, and we will visit some places:
Kayaking on Nho Que river – along the Nho Que River, passing through scenic Ta Lang village
Boat trip to harbour
M road
Lunch at the local restaurant
A bamboo rafting experience at Ang Stream, where you can swim, jump, and explore a cave
Lung Ho French Fort – explore the remnants of a historic French military outpost, offering panoramic views
- 17:00 you will arrive in Du Gia, check in and enjoy there
Day 4: Du Gia – Ha Giang (80km) [Meals: B, L]
- 08:00: Breakfast at the homestay
We will come back Ha Giang, and we will visit some places:
Du Gia waterfalls – you will ride through old, traditional houses surrounded by rice fields and magnificent hills. Arrive at the clearest water stream and have a refreshing swim there together with cold beers and snacks.
Thuong village – Visit a Hmong family, meet local children at school, and join them in a fun shuttlecock kicking game
Hidden waterfalls –enjoy swiming by stunning waterfalls
- 15:00 you will arrive in Ha Giang

- Guests in dorm, private rooms (depend on quality of hotel and homestays) are arranged by request with additional charge
