Itinerary
Day 0: Your pickup point - Ha Giang city [Meals: None]
Board a sleeper bus from pickup point to Ha Giang.
Rest comfortably at our homestay before gearing up for your Ha Giang Loop adventure!
Overnight: ROOM at Tha village – Ha Giang city
Day 1: Ha Giang - Dong Van Ancient town (135km) [Meals: B L D]
8:00 AM – Your day begins with a warm welcome from local H’Mong guide before heading into the mountains.
We start the scenic drive with visits to:
- Quan Ba Sky Gate: Breathtaking panoramic views of the valley below.
- Twin Mountain: Iconic limestone peaks symbolizing Ha Giang’s natural charm.
- Visit Lung Tam Linen Village – discover traditional Hmong linen weaving, handmade from flax using age-old techniques.
After lunch, continue the journey with breathtaking scenery:
- Can Ty Slope: The old “Cu Vuong” horse road once used by the Hmong King.
- Tham Ma Slope: a dramatic zigzag mountain pass once used to test the strength of horses, now one of Ha Giang Loop’s most iconic roads.
- Hmong King’s Palace: the legendary Hmong King’s mansion, unique architecture and rich cultural history.
7:00 PM: Enjoy dinner and head to Dong Van Ancient Town for campfire and traditional dancing.

Day 2: Dong Van - Lung Cu - Ma Pi Leng pass (70km) [Meals: B L D]
8:30 AM – Breakfast at the homestay
9:00 AM – Exploring Dong Van and Lung Cu with visits to:
Morning highlights include:
- Dong Van Local Market (Sunday only) – Experience one of the most vibrant ethnic markets in the region.
- Lung Cu Flag Tower – The northernmost point of Vietnam, offering sweeping mountain views beneath the iconic national flag.
- Lo Lo Chai Village – A charming village at the foot of Lung Cu, home to the Lo Lo people with unique stilt houses and colorful cultural traditions.
12:00 PM – Lunch at a local Lo Lo family house
Afternoon highlights:
- Thien Huong Village – A hidden gem with centuries-old houses, unique cultural traditions, and peaceful rural scenery.
- Ma Pi Leng Pass ride – One of Vietnam’s most spectacular mountain passes, offering dramatic cliffs and panoramic views.
Overnight: ROOM at Hmong village (or hostel in Meo Vac town)
Day 3: Meo Vac - M road - Hidden village (80km) [Meals: B L D]
08:30 AM – Enjoy breakfast at the homestay and begin the ride to village, stopping at key highlights along the way:
- Nho Que River boat trip – Cruise through the emerald waters beneath towering canyon walls.
12:00 PM – Lunch en route, followed by visits to the next highlights:
- M Road – Iconic “M-shaped” mountain curves, famous for their wild, rugged beauty.
- Lao Va Chai Viewpoint – A scenic stop offering sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
- Hidden Waterfall – A refreshing natural waterfall, ideal for a short break and photo stop
5:00 PM – Arrive in village. Free time to wander through the village and experience the daily life of the ethnic people.
Overnight: ROOM at Nam Dam/Du Gia village
Day 4: Hidden village - Ha Giang city (70km) [Meals: B L]
08:00 – Breakfast at the homestay.
Return to Ha Giang with stops along the way:
- Highlight view points – With a stunning view of below valley
- Hidden waterfalls – Scenic waterfalls surrounded by nature, offering a refreshing stop
15:00 – Arrive back in Ha Giang City. Take some time to rest, shower, and prepare for departure. Don’t forget to grab some snacks for your journey back to Hanoi.
