Stunning Cao Bang Loop – trekking, SUP 4D3N

Board a sleeper bus from pickup point to Cao Bang and get ready for our adventure!

8:00 AM – Breakfast and start journey with stops at:

• Ma Phuc Pass – enjoy panoramic views of the Northeast mountains and forests, with photo opportunities along the bus route.
• Traditional craft villages: Phia Thap Incense Village, Phuc Sen Forging Village, and Dia Tren Paper Making Village – experience local artisan techniques and culture.

12:00 PM – Lunch at a local restaurant and stop at next destination:

• Ba Quang Panorama – capture stunning valley and mountain landscapes. Then, swimming in the river or waterfalls on the way

4:30 PM – Check-in at Khuoi Ky Homestay, located near Ban Gioc Waterfall, offering local hospitality and peaceful village surroundings.

8:00 AM – Breakfast and start sightseeing:

• Rice field – Walking from the homestay to Nguom Ngao cave, one of the most stunning caves in Northern Vietnam, via the rice fields of the Tay people.
• Nguom Ngao adventure seekers cave—We will spend 1 hour 30 minutes exploring its majestic stalactites and underground chambers; for adventure seekers, there’s an extended route of about 1.5 hours that explores deeper sections of the cave.
• Trekking through forest: a trek along the border of Vietnam and China, going through the villages, with sweeping views all around.

12:00 PM – Lunch at a local restaurant and continue the drive:

• Ban Gioc Waterfall—one of Vietnam’s most majestic waterfalls at the Vietnam-China border; optional boat ride brings you close to the cascading waters.
• Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda – enjoy elevated views of the waterfall and surrounding scenery.
• Swimming on the river – We will go to Mom’s village, where we can swim on Quay Son River.
• Cooking class—you’ll learn how to make pho rolls and one or two traditional dishes from the Tay people.

Overnight at Khuoi Ky Stone Village 

8:00 AM – Breakfast and morning exploration:

• Angel Eye Mountain — witness stunning panoramic views over mountains and lakes.
• Picnic lunch—Vietnamese family-style food at Angel Eye mountain
• SUP on the lake – This is one of those quiet, local corners of Cao Bang—calm water framed by limestone peaks and greenery.

Head to Pac Po village, then you will stop some places where you can go sightseeing with sunset view.

Overnight at Pac Po village of Tay people

8:00 AM – Breakfast and morning exploration:

• Nam Tra Waterfall – underground waterfall with optional climbing, SUP, cycling, or ATV activities.
• Pac Po – historical site where Ho Chi Minh first worked in Vietnam.
• Le Nin stream – scenic emerald stream near historical landmarks.
• Ho Chi Minh Museum – learn about revolutionary history.

12:00 PM – Lunch at local restaurant and continue to visit:

• After lunch, take some time to rest, shower, and prepare for departure. Don’t forget to grab some snacks for your journey back to Hanoi.
