TRIP ITINERARIES
Day 1: Ha Giang – villages – Dong Van Ancient town (135km) [Meals: B L D]
- 3:30: Arrive in Ha Giang City, and sleep in our hostel for a few hours before starting the journey.
- 7:30-8:00: Have breakfast in Ha Giang city
- 8:30: Start the journey to visit:
Minh Tan market (it’s Saturday) – Explore the lively local market.
Quan Ba sky gate – Stunning panoramic views of the valley
Quan Ba Twin mountain – a must-see in Ha Giang, is famous for its magical natural beauty.
Hmong House at Lung Khuy village – Meet locals and experience traditional Hmong culture
- 12:00: Lunch stop at the local restaurant.
Can Ty Slope – the “Cu Vuong” road, which was the horse road used by H’mong King a long time ago
Legendary Tham Ma slope – A scenic mountain pass offering stunning views of Ha Giang’s winding roads and valleys
Lao Xa village you will learn the traditional silver-making craft of the Hmong.
Sa Phin Dong Van Geopark
H’mong King Palace – Built in the late 19th century, this grand palace features unique multicultural architecture and fascinating stories, making it a must-visit in Ha Giang.
- 19:00: Enjoy dinner and have free time to relax at the homestay.
Day 2: Dong Van – Boat trip – Bao Lac -Angle Eye (135km) [Meals: B L D]
- 07:30: Breakfast at the homestay
- 8:30: We will go to Bao Lac, and we will visit some places:
Dong Van Local market (it’s sunday)
Ma Pi Leng peak – covering 4 km (it takes around 1 hour from Meo Vac muesum to Pai Lung) of the Sky path through limestone cliffs, Hmong villages, and cornfields.
Ma Pi Leng pass – top at the viewpoint for a breathtaking scene of the Nho Que river down in the Tu San Valley.
Khau Vai village – The Love Market Village in Ha Giang (27th Mar Lunar Year). Khau Vai is famous for its Love Market, where old lovers reunite once a year. This peaceful village of the Lo Lo and Nung people is surrounded by rice terraces and stunning valley views.
River boat trip – Instead of riding a long distance by motorbike, we’ll take both the bikes and the riders on a boat journey – over an hour from the Nho Que River to the Gam River.
Enjoy stunning views along the way, sing together, or open a few cold beers as we cruise toward Bao Lam.
- 13:00 Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to visit some places on the way before checking in to the room at the homestay:
God’s Eye Mountain, a unique karst peak with a giant “eye” hole through its center. A magical spot to admire the sunset before heading back.

Day 3: Angle Eye – Khuoi Ky (135km) [Meals: B L D]
- 8:30: Breakfast at the homestay
Quây Sơn River, stopping for views of streams winding across flat valleys, a gentle contrast to the mountain passes.
Ngọc Sơn – Phong Nậm Valley. There, you will be dropped off for a short peaceful walk along a small road through the village, with sweeping views all around. At the end, you’ll reach a beautiful bridge where you can refresh with a swim or leap into the river.
- 12:30: Arrive at the local traditional house of Nùng people next to the bridge for a local lunch.
Ngườm Ngao Cave, one of the most stunning caves in Northern Vietnam. We will spend 30 to 45 minutes exploring its majestic stalactites and underground chambers. (For adventure seekers, there’s an extended route at about 1.5 hours that explores deeper sections of the cave. The entrance fee is 195,000 VND/person, not included in the tour).
Bản Giốc Waterfall, Southeast Asia’s largest, roaring down right on the Vietnam-China border.
- 17:30: Check-in at a homestay in Khuổi Kỵ Stone Village
Day 4: Khuoi Ky – Cultural villages (135km) [Meals: B L]
- 8:00: Breakfast at the homestay. We will go to Cao Bang city and stop some places before returning Hanoi as follows:
Thoong Mạ Waterfalls – swim and join the local kids jumping into the pools.
Dìa Trên Paper Village to see the craft of making dó paper.
Phia Thắp Village for traditional incense making. And lunch time with local people there.
- 13:30 Take rest and shower before getting on the limousine. Or grab some snacks before boarding onto the bus back to Hanoi. Your journey ends here. Thank you for traveling with us!
