TRIP ITINERARIES
Day 1: Ha Giang – villages – Dong Van Ancient town (135km) [Meals: B L D]
- 3:30: Arrive in Ha Giang City, and sleep in our hostel for a few hours before starting the journey.
- 7:30-8:00: Have breakfast in Ha Giang city
- 8:30: Start the journey to visit:
Minh Tan market (it’s Saturday) – Explore the lively local market.
Quan Ba sky gate – Stunning panoramic views of the valley
Quan Ba Twin mountain – a must-see in Ha Giang, is famous for its magical natural beauty.
Hmong House at Lung Khuy village – Meet locals and experience traditional Hmong culture
- 12:00: Lunch stop at the local restaurant.
Can Ty Slope – the “Cu Vuong” road, which was the horse road used by H’mong King a long time ago
Legendary Tham Ma slope – A scenic mountain pass offering stunning views of Ha Giang’s winding roads and valleys
Lao Xa village you will learn the traditional silver-making craft of Hmong
Sa Phin Dong Van Geopark
H’mong King Palace – Built in the late 19th century, this grand palace features unique multicultural architecture and fascinating stories, making it a must-visit in Ha Giang.
- 19:00: Enjoy dinner and have free time to relax at the homestay.
Day 2: Dong Van – (60km) [Meals: B L]
- 08:30: Breakfast at the homestay
- 09:00: We will continue to explore Dong Van Geopark and we will visit some places:
Dong Van Local market (it’s sunday)
Ma So village – Meet a Hmong khen artist (So’s uncle) with nearby 100 songs of Mong people, visit a local house, and immerse yourself in the rich culture and daily life of the Hmong people
Lung Cu flag tower – The northernmost point of Vietnam, where the national flag proudly waves over breathtaking mountain landscapes
Lo Lo Chai village – A picturesque village at the foot of Lung Cu Flag Tower, home to the Lô Lô people with unique stilt houses, colorful culture, and warm hospitality.

Thien Huong village hidden gem near Dong Van, known for centuries-old houses, unique cultural traditions, and tranquil village life
Ma Lu and kayaking, swimming in river
French Fort in Dong Van –which was built in 1890 and evacuated in 1945 from here you can enjoy spectacular views of the entire region
Dong Van Ancient town, free at leisure with local restaurant, suggest as:

- Vegan food: Totochan restaurant
- Asia food: Cao Nguyen restaurant, Quang Dung restaurant, Green Karst, Ethnic restaurant….
Day 3: Dong Van – Du Gia (95km) [Meals: B L]
- 07:30: Breakfast at the homestay
- 8:30: We will come back to Ha Giang, and we will visit some places:
Dong Van Local market (it’s sunday)
Ma Pi Leng peak – covering 4 km (it takes around 1 hour from Meo Vac muesum to Pai Lung) of the Sky path through limestone cliffs, Hmong villages, and cornfields.
Ma Pi Leng pass – top at the viewpoint for a breathtaking scene of the Nho Que river down in the Tu San Valley.
Nho Que river boat trip – Glide along Tu San Alley and witness the majestic Ma Pi Leng cliffs rising above you. (or you can choose a bamboo rafting experience at Ang Stream, where you can swim, jump, and explore a cave – in summer)

- 12:30: Lunch at local restaurant
Lung Ho French Fort – explore the remnants of a historic French military outpost, offering panoramic views
Lung Ho viewpoint
Du Gia – join a hands-on cooking class and savor the stunning homestay views.
Day 4: Du Gia – Ha Giang (80km) [Meals: B L]
- 08:00: Breakfast at the homestay
We will come back to Ha Giang, and we will visit some places:
Du Gia waterfalls – you will ride through old, traditional houses surrounded by rice fields and magnificent hills. Arrive at the clearest water stream and have a refreshing swim there together with cold beers and snacks.
Thuong village – Visit a Hmong family, meet local children at school, and join them in a fun shuttlecock kicking game
Hidden waterfalls – enjoy swiming by stunning waterfalls
- 15:00 you will arrive in Ha Giang
