Night 1: Hanoi - Hagiang
21:00: You get on the sleeper bus to go to Ha Giang, stay overnight on the bus before arriving in Ha Giang. (The cost of the sleeper bus is not included in the tour program. There are many types of sleeper buses from many provinces and cities in many time frames to Ha Giang with different prices. Hagiang Expeditions can assist you in booking tickets upon request)

Day 1: Ha Giang - Dong Van (135km)

4:00: Arrive in Ha Giang City and check into your homestay for some rest and refreshment before the trip begins.

08:00: Your tour guide will pick you up at the homestay for breakfast, after which you'll depart for Dong Van Town.
- 09:00: Starting loop. On the way, you'll have the opportunity to stop and take pictures at scenic spots along the Happy Road, including Bac Sum Slope, Co Tien Twin Mountain, and Tham Ma Slope. Specially, we will explore Lung Khuy cave where is located in a mountain area between the mountains and there are a few ethnic villages in the area, you can still watch the lives of ethnic minorities.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch at Quan Ba Town. After lunch, the driver will transfer you to H'mong King Palace
- Finally, we will arrive in Dong Van where we will be spending the night. Enjoy dinner in a local homestay with a local family.

Day 2: Dong Van - Lung Cu - Dong Van (55km)
- 8:30am: Having breakfast at homestay
- 9:00am: Continuing to do the Loop. The guide will transfer you to Ma So village where you will learn to play Khen "pan-pie" of H'mong people. And then, explore the ancient house named Ha Sung is over a hundred years old. The house is built on a high mound overlooking the valley. The entrance is a long stretch of stone, with an appearance quite similar to the Meo King's mansion.
- 10:30am: Visiting Lung Cu Flag tower. There is the northernmost point of Vietnam. On the way to Lung Cu, you follow the border fence with China and enjoy the majestic rocky mountain scenery, making the journey as impressive as the destination itself.
- 12:00 You have lunch at Lo Lo Chai village is home to the Lo Lo ethnic minority. You can experience traditional culture, architecture, and handicrafts while enjoying the stunning natural landscapes and learning about the unique customs of the local people.
- 14:00pm: Ahead to Dong Van. On the way, visiting Thien Huong ancient village by stunning natural, terraces in Ma U
- In the afternoon, free to leisure at homestay or hike to French Fort Dong Van where you can see sunset by stunning natural with overview of Dong Van town
- 19:30pm: Dinner time, enjoy some local foods Overnight at Dong Van

Day 3: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng – Du Gia (about 110km)
- 08:00: Today we will experience lots of the authentic local lifestyle as we will go through the Dong Van Local Market, and then stop for a handicraft village to learn about how people make clothes from hemp. There will be plenty of opportunities along the way to stop for photo opportunities as well.
- 09:00am: We will visit Ma Pi Leng pass, top at the viewpoint for a breathtaking scene of the Nho Que river down in the Tu San Valley. After that, we will have lunch there.
- In the afternoon, we will arrive at the village of Du Gia. The mountain passes are impressive, perhaps even more so than around Dong Van. In some areas you can see many rice terraces that turn golden yellow during the rice season. Along the way you will find a ruin of a French watchtower from the colonial era. Expect to give a lot of high fives to the kids along the way who greet you kindly.
- 17:00pm: Check in the homestay of Tay people in Du Gia. Relaxing by stunning natural at the homestay
- 19:00pm: Dinner time and enjoy some local food. Overnight at Du Gia

Day 4: Du Gia – Thuong road – Lung Tam – Ha Giang (about 110km)
- 7:00am: Having breakfast
- 8:00am: We will hike to Tham Luong waterfalls which is about 5 kilometers from our homestay. On the way, you will pass through old, traditional houses surrounded by rice fields and magnificent hills. Arrive at the clearest water stream and have a refreshing swim there together with cold beers and snacks. After that we will make our way back to Ha Giang town. Today is another day of incredible views and meeting beautiful people.
- 14:30pm: Lung Tam weaving linen village where making traditional crafts and clothes by hemp and draw the pattern by bee wax of Hmong people.
- Visiting Sky Gate Quan Ba before coming back Ha Giang Eco Stone House. Tour concludes at 17:00 limousine back or 21:00 VIP cabin bus/sleeping bus) – option to go to Sapa/Ninh Binh/Ha Long/Hai Phong)

We had an amazing 4-day tour with Ha Giang expeditions. We got to see gorgeous landscapes, swim in a waterfall, a boat tour… the drivers were great and planned activities for us every night. The food was also delicious. Would highly recommend!

Exceptional 4-day ride. We had the chance to take this tour privately with the guide which allowed us to get off the beaten track. Breathtaking landscapes, and hostels, each one more pleasant than the other, I recommend!
