Night 1: Hanoi - Hagiang

21:00: You get on the sleeper bus to go to Ha Giang, stay overnight on the bus before arriving in Ha Giang. (The cost of the sleeper bus is not included in the tour program. There are many types of sleeper buses from many provinces and cities in many time frames to Ha Giang with different prices. Hagiang Expeditions can assist you in booking tickets upon request)

Day 1: Ha Giang - Dong Van (135km)

4:00: Arrive in Ha Giang City and check into your homestay for some rest and refreshment before the trip begins. 08:00: Your tour guide will pick you up at the homestay for breakfast, after which you'll depart for Dong Van Town. 09:00: Starting loop. On the way, you'll have the opportunity to stop and take pictures at scenic spots along the Happy Road, including Bac Sum Slope, Co Tien Twin Mountain, and Tham Ma Slope. Specially, we will explore Lung Khuy cave where is located in a mountain area between the mountains and there are a few ethnic villages in the area, you can still watch the lives of ethnic minorities. Lunch: Enjoy lunch at Quan Ba Town. After lunch, the driver will transfer you to H'mong King Palace Finally, we will arrive in Dong Van where we will be spending the night. Enjoy dinner in a local homestay with a local family. Overnight at Dong Van

Day 2: Dong Van - Bao Lac

08:30: Have breakfast at the homestay, after breakfast, start exploring the destinations on the last day's itinerary. 09:00: Explore the market (if it falls on a weekend) to better understand the market culture of the highlanders. And then, We will visit Ma Pi Leng pass, top at the viewpoint for a breathtaking scene of the Nho Que river down in the Tu San Valley. 10:30: Go down the Nho Que River by motorboat (motorbikes are left on the boat) from Nho Que 3 Hydropower Plant to Niem Tong Hydropower Plant amidst the majestic scenery on both banks, with Ha Giang on one side and Cao Bang on the other. Continue to Niem Tong Hydropower Plant by motorbike. 12:30: Lunch in Bao Lam, and continue riding until we arrive at Bao Lac, where we’ll check into a comfy hotel for the night, before riding downtown for dinner. With full bellies we then check out the nightlife of this local town to end a long day’s travel of 80 km. Overnight at Bao Lac

Day 3: Bao Lac - Angle Eye mountain - Khuoi Ky

07:00: Tuck in to your traditional breakfast and get ready for your day of exploration. Khau Coc Cha Pass (20 min/1 km hike up the mountain to the viewpoint overlooking the 14 switchback roads up the mountain, then hike back down to the bikes) Na Tenh Pass (viewpoint from one end of the Valley to the other with a beautiful winding road below) 12:00: Lunch at Ha Quang. Angel Eye Mountain (explore the valley and marvel at the ultra unique mountain with a hole through the center) Phong Nam Valley (enjoy the streams and flatlands of the stunning valley) 17:30: Check in at the homestay near Ban Gioc 19:00: Have your local dinner and get ready for the falls tomorrow!

Day 4: Khuoi Ky - Nguom Ngao cave - Cao Bang

08:00: Fuel up for the final day of your adventure with breakfast at the homestay. Nguom Ngao Cave (trek ~30 minutes through the impressive cave) Ban Gioc Waterfall (take a boat trip up to the foot of the waterfall for a one-of-a-kind photo and view, afterwards explore the area on foot)(the narrow river divides China and Vietnam) 12:00: Lunch at Vinh Quy atop the mountains. Vinh Quy Grass Hills (rolling grass hills/mountains stretch as far as the eye can see, in every direction) - optional Doc Lap Waterfall/Na Tau Waterfall (take a swim in the waterfalls plunge pool) 14:30: Arrive at Cao Bang City and say goodbye to your group and guides. 16:00: Our organized transportation to Hanoi will arrive.
